View from Kalaloch Bluff

High tides and copper colored logs were features of our two-night stay in a bluff cabin at Kalaloch Lodge on the Olympic Pacific Coast. Walking on the beach, socializing with friends Randy and Gunvor, knitting, reading, and sketching with pen and watercolor crayons made the time pass pleasantly and all too fast.

Dreamscape

“Dreamscape” was my target for a recent class on Photgraphing Your Art, taught by DJ Bassett of Sequim. I learned a lot about setting up a photo shoot and just how complex a process it is to do a really good job. I have a miniature, automatic camera and I was amazed to learn how much you can get from such a camera if you know what you are doing. I definitely recommend taking a class from DJ Bassett.

This image was edited in Photoshop for a card printing project.  The original art piece was a sampler to try out free motion stitching.

I am exploring ways of preparing images for posting on this site.  I want to set up a portfolio page with thumbnails as indexes.

A learning experience

Posted in Uncategorized with tags on April 20, 2009 by liisafagerlund
